If you are not physically active, your body becomes lethargic and you feel like you want to sleep all the time.
Working out more won't necessarily give you more energy. The exercise in itself is important but without the recovering part you won't ripe any results or any increased energy. The more you exercise the more you need to pay attention to how much sleep and rest your body gets in between workouts. This is the phase when your body gets stronger and gets itself ready for the next workout session so make sure you get an adequate amount of quality sleep at night.
